Vanilla cream and iodine. Then candied ginger, camphor, a pinch of salt, and the beautiful, explosive smoky peat typical of the distillery. Intense, almost pungent wood. Coniferous. Eucalyptus leaves. Citrus fruits and calcareous iodine, grapefruit, lemon zest. Thick, suffocating smoke. Gas oil, motor oil. Salt stars. Sweet and suave on the palate, then the spices emerge, cumin and cloves. Heavy, thick peat. Some exotic fruits, prickly pear, banana, papaya. Not very strong but long finish, which develops gradually, on cola and coal. Lignite. Resin. Very intense wood, I feel like I'm eating a wood cake. Dried fig at the end.
In Short,
It's an interesting experience. I found it a little more complex than the Ten, but not significantly better. You have to like ginger and wood. It obviously doesn't deserve all the hype, and the current price is quite ridiculous.
