Let's Taste It :
A light and lemony peat blends well with woody hints and red fruits. Cherry, vanilla. It's fresh. You can smell the iodine, the tide and a pinch of coarse salt. On the beach on a low tide day. Foam, kelp, and a few small crustaceans running away. The palate is sparkling, spicy, fruity, always balanced, with varnish, barley and a tiny touch of caramel. The almost pungent peat comes through on the finish, with the power delicately restrained by the oak and barley. It 's long on the palate, with a honeyed and earthy note and slightly oily grass. It's creamy and salty. It's a really good whisky, full of control and power, between fruits and peat, with small touches.
In Short,
An excellent marriage of iodine, peat and red fruits. A good addition to any collection.
