In 2018, Compass Box created The Circle, an assembly of bar owners who are experts in blending. All together, they are supposed to express their creativity in a big competition. The Circle Release N°1 is the product created by the winning barkeeper in the first competition.

 

 

 

Let's Taste It : 

The sun. Summer fruits, melon, watermelon, blood orange, pear. Vanilla ice cream. Toasted wheat grains, dry earth, some citrus, more grapefruit than lemon. Iodine, very light peat. Heather, it must be Highland Park. Sheep's milk. On the palate, the fruits become slightly acidic, Granny Smith apple, banana, rhubarb. Cane syrup. On the pastry side, chantilly, custard. Perhaps a bit of pumpkin. Some spices, nutmeg, cardamom. The finish is fairly long and fades into a dance of fruits and vanilla.

 

In Short, 

An extraordinary and highly original blend. The perfect summer whisky, not to be missed. Too bad the price is a bit hot too.
