Like the 12 Year Old, this prestigious edition dating back to 1997 has been enriched with the slogan 'Viking Pride' in 2017, which in no way suggests that the blend has changed.

Let's Taste It: 

The first sensation is one of balance between peat, pine needles and wood. Then the citrus fruits rise, lemon peel, orange pulp, all enhanced by very fine, almost granular peat. Finally the honey appears. Mountain honey, from acacia, which is fragrant. Some smoke shows its nose. On the palate, an ocean of honey. Vanilla, chocolate milk. Pungent spices, nutmeg, ginger. The finish is rather long, charred and woody. Liquorice stick, heather earth and cola. 

In Short, 

It's very good quality, with a fresh taste and lots of fruits. But the price is extravagant in my humble opinion.
